Chess and playing card

Have you ever thought of making paper chess pieces, or making your own poker cards. Under skillful hands, artisans have created paper versions of chess pieces and cards. You can use yes as normal chess pieces and invite your friends to play and watch these wonderful origami works.


1. Chess

Chess has been around for a long time and is usually made of wood material. Plastic is used a lot when people want to reduce costs. Artisans have turned sheets of paper into chess pieces with artistic hands.

Third photo designed and folded by Artist Daniel Brown, this picture was taken by him. The bases are designed to hold a coin (US nickel) to weigh them down securely. They can lean nearly to lying flat and still stand back up - this is useful for playing on lumpy origami chessboards!
